Forest Light was born from walking my own land in West Tennessee — not as untouched wilderness, but as a place that has lived many lives.
This land has known movement and stillness.
It has been worked, cleared, rested, and allowed to grow again.
The trees here are not ancient giants — most are a century old or less — regrown after fields, after harvesting, after change.
And yet, they stand steady.
When I walk among them, certain trees feel grounding — not because they’re calling out, but because my body recognizes their presence as calm. Their bark holds warmth. Their trunks are solid. The light filters through their branches softly, not dramatically. This is not a wild, untamed forest. It’s a settled one.
Forest Light is about that feeling.
